Deploy Faster with Pre-Terminated Connectivity
Factory-terminated MTP®-to-LC connectivity reduces field termination work and supports modular installation.
Data center fiber architectures often need a clean transition between high-density multi-fiber backbone cabling and equipment-side LC patching. STAR400 provides that transition in a compact pre-terminated module designed for compatible Fibernet ODF platforms.
Individual LC fiber and port numbering supports either eight LC simplex or four LC duplex patch cords, while the MTP® side connects to horizontal or backbone cabling.
8-fiber Single-Mode 9/125 µm module/cassette with one MTP® Elite Low Loss Female input and four LC Duplex UPC connectors with protective shutters. Method A polarity. Maximum insertion loss 0.75 dB per module.
8-fiber Single-Mode 9/125 µm module/cassette with one MTP® Female input and four LC Duplex UPC connectors with protective shutters. Maximum insertion loss 0.5 dB per module.
8-fiber splice module/cassette with Single-Mode G.657A2 9/125 µm fibers and four LC Duplex UPC connectors with protective shutters. Maximum insertion loss 0.15 dB per connector.
Factory-terminated MTP®-to-LC connectivity reduces field termination work and supports modular installation.
Numbered LC ports and modular MTP® backbone connectivity make patching changes easier to identify and manage.
The datasheet states that LC Uni-Boot patch cords can reduce front cabling volume by 50% compared with duplex patch cords.
Every module is specified as receiving 100% insertion-loss and return-loss testing.
The STAR400 module uses an eight-fiber configuration. The supplied datasheet positions Base-8 as a platform for maximizing fiber utilization and for migration across a range of data rates up to 400G.

Return-loss values are not exposed in this public table because the source uses negative-sign notation (>-35 dB / >-60 dB), which should be confirmed by Fibernet Engineering before publication.
