FAV-102

SKUFAV-102

MVISION is an IP-based KVM/AV platform designed to route source content across a network instead of tying every source to a fixed display. FAV-103 encoders place source video and control signals onto the network; FAV-104 decoders receive the required source streams at displays, operator workstations or video-wall endpoints.

This architecture supports matrix switching, KVM management and scalable multi-endpoint deployments in environments such as defense, air traffic control, broadcasting, finance, energy and education.

Matrix Switching

Select and receive streams from different FAV-103 encoders across the IP network.

KVM Control

Use USB keyboard and mouse at the decoder side to control the selected source PC.

Video Wall Processing

The decoder supports video-wall output and synchronized display technology for multi-display environments.

Built-In OSD

The decoder includes OSD capabilities for viewing and controlling source PCs without requiring additional control software at the operator station.

Multi-Window Overlay

The FAV-104 decoder can display up to nine signal sources on one monitor. The source lists PIP (Picture-in-Picture), image cropping, scaling, moving, roaming, window locking, background picture, presets and signal preview.

Operator Situational Awareness

Consolidate multiple video or KVM sources onto one display for command, monitoring and control workflows.

Flexible Window Layout

Scale, crop, move and lock windows to create the display layout required by the operator.

Interface FAV-104 Decoder
Video 1 × HDMI output
Audio 2 × 3.5 mm AUX — In / Out
Keyboard / Mouse 2 × USB-A
Network 1 × RJ45
Fiber 1 × Tx + 1 × Rx
Device Control RS232 / RS485 + LAN
Power 12 VDC or PoE

Tx/Rx on the fiber port: here Tx means optical transmit and Rx means optical receive on the decoder’s network/fiber interface. It does not mean that the FAV-104 itself is the system Encoder. At system level, FAV-104 remains the Decoder (Rx endpoint).

Source interpretation: Fibernet separately states a “4K@60Hz lossless image” workflow and H.264/H.265 streaming support. The page therefore avoids describing all H.264/H.265 operation as lossless.

Sources such as computers, laptops, media players and IP cameras feed FAV-103 encoders. Encoded AV/KVM traffic travels across the LAN to FAV-104 decoders connected to monitors, projectors, KVM switches and video-wall displays. The source diagram also shows centralized server/client management.

Control Rooms & Command Centers

Route multiple mission or operational sources to operator displays and video walls with KVM control.

Air Traffic Control

The datasheet lists air traffic control among the target sectors for distributed AV/KVM workflows.

Broadcast & Media

Support network media sources, matrix switching, multiview and synchronized display layouts.

Energy & Critical Operations

Provide centralized access to multiple operational sources from distributed operator positions.

Finance & Monitoring Desks

Use Multiview to consolidate multiple information sources onto a single operator display.

Education

The manufacturer also lists education as a target sector for the platform.
