Customer Premises Fiber Socket

Customer Premises Fiber Socket

A clean finish for every FTTH connection. Fibernet's wall-mounted optical outlet provides a dedicated termination point with configurable SC simplex or LC duplex adapter interfaces.

Installation context

The last fiber connection needs a defined place.

At the customer premises, the drop fiber requires a recognizable optical termination point. Adapter selection, fiber count and access to the connection should be specified as part of the same outlet configuration.

The design question

Which interface will the subscriber actually use?

The connection type and number of terminations must match the installation plan. A wall plate alone does not resolve those choices.

Fibernet’s approach

Specify the outlet around the connection.

The FHS-DS ordering family provides choices for optical adapter, shutter, fiber terminations, pigtail inclusion and polish type in a compact wall-mounted format.

How it fits into FTTH

A clear hand-off at the subscriber wall.

The socket forms the optical connection point between the installed FTTH fiber and the customer-side connection.

Configuration options

Choose the connection details before ordering.

The product’s ordering table defines five selection dimensions. Treat them as a configuration guide, subject to confirmation of supported combinations.

01 / INTERFACE

SC or LC

SC simplex and LC duplex adapter types appear in the documented order options.

02 / PROTECTION OPTION

Shutter selection

Specify no shutter, an internal shutter or an external shutter.

03 / FIBER COUNT

Termination quantity

Choose a one-, two- or four-fiber termination option according to the planned connection.

04 / PIGTAIL

With or without

The order matrix distinguishes configurations that include a pigtail from those that do not.

05 / POLISH

UPC or APC

Select the appropriate connector polish in coordination with the mating optical interface.

The full product code depends on the chosen options. Confirm the final part number before release.

Configuration note: the datasheet lists possible fields, but does not confirm every combination of adapter type, termination count, shutter and polish.

Technical reference

Documented product details.

Only the specifications visible in the supplied source have been included. Dimensions are referenced from the original mechanical drawing.

Product Customer Premises Fiber Socket

Specification workflow

Two optical interfaces. One installation decision.

Select the adapter family for the customer connection, then confirm the associated shutter, termination and polishing requirements.

SC Simplex

A single SC adapter interface, listed in the ordering matrix. Appropriate when the planned subscriber connection uses SC termination.

LC Duplex

An LC duplex adapter option for installations specifying LC connectivity. Confirm the relevant fiber count and configuration before ordering.
