A Defined Path from Feeder to Drop

A Defined Path from Feeder to Drop
Application challenge

When the access point is compact, fiber routing still matters.

A feeder-to-drop termination point has to accommodate incoming fiber, connections and service access in one enclosure. Poor separation can make routine work harder than it needs to be.

THE REQUIREMENT

More than a place for an adapter

A small distribution point must provide a defined route for cable and pigtails while retaining access to its internal components.

THE FIBERNET CONFIGURATION

Organized paths inside one enclosure

The FTTH-BOX-4F uses distinct paths for cable, pigtails and patch cords, with a flip-up panel to reach the distribution area.

Functional architecture

Follow the connection through the box.

The feeder cable enters the enclosure and is routed toward the termination area; the output side connects to drop-side fiber. The layout supports cable fixation, fiber management and access for maintenance.

Mechanical design

Access and protection are designed into the layout.

The internal organization is intended to simplify installation and maintenance without requiring a large distribution cabinet.

01 / ROUTING

Separate fiber paths

Cable, pigtails and patch cords follow defined paths within the enclosure.

02 / ACCESS

Flip-up panel

An accessible distribution panel supports installation and service work.

03 / HOUSING

Enclosed ABS construction

Provides a protective housing for the managed optical connection.

04 / TERMINATION

SC or LC configurations

Choose the relevant connector arrangement for the optical interface.

Configuration choices

Match the termination point to the interface.

The datasheet lists SC and LC capacity figures as different configurations. Confirm the exact optical arrangement and any splitter accessories when specifying the unit.

01SC interface

Up to 4 SC positions, as listed in the configuration table.

02LC interface

Up to 8 LC positions, listed separately from the SC configuration.

03Splitter requirements

Optical splitting is mentioned in the source document; PLC type and supplied accessories require confirmation.
