2-Fiber FTTx Distribution Box

2-Fiber FTTx Distribution Box

Protect the final fiber connection – without overbuilding the termination point.

The access-network challenge

Small fiber counts still need controlled termination.

The handoff between feeder and subscriber drop cabling needs space for fiber routing, mechanical cable retention and protected connection points.

The Fibernet approach
A single small enclosure brings splicing, connection management and cable storage together – with a lockable housing and SC/LC adapter compatibility specified in the original product documentation.
How it fits the network

A practical handoff between feeder and drop cable.

The enclosure is used at a low-fiber-count branch or termination point in an FTTx/FTTH access network.

Engineering details

Designed around the service point.

Three practical features address the everyday requirements of a small optical access enclosure.

01 / PROTECTION

Enclosed IP65 housing

PC+ABS construction supports a protected termination point in indoor or outdoor locations. Actual sealing depends on correct cable entry and installation.

02 / MECHANICAL

Cable clamping and storage

Internal retention and fiber management help organize the feeder-to-drop transition while keeping the termination area serviceable.

03 / INTERFACES

SC or LC compatibility

The source datasheet identifies SC and LC duplex adapters and pigtails; the precise supplied connector configuration should be confirmed when ordering.

Inside the enclosure

Compact fiber routing with accessible connections.

The product photograph shows the covered housing and its internal routing area. For projects requiring splicing or passive-component integration, confirm the supported hardware and whether it is included in the selected assembly.

The locking feature is a mechanical access-control measure, not an electronic or cybersecurity function.

Typical applications

Where a low-count fiber access box makes sense.

FTTH subscriber termination

Create an enclosed transition between the feeder network and subscriber drop cable.

FTTx access infrastructure

Use a compact fiber termination point within distributed telecommunications access networks.

LAN/WAN fiber branches

Provide localized management for small optical connections where a larger cabinet is unnecessary.
