22U Fiber Communication Rack with Ducts

22U Fiber Communication Rack with Ducts

A 19-inch open-frame fiber distribution rack designed for SC fiber splicing and distribution, with integrated routing ducts, wall-mounting brackets and dedicated cable slack management.

THE INSTALLATION CHALLENGE

Fiber distribution needs room to work.

Splicing, cross-connections and incoming cables compete for space in a communications rack. Without a defined route for cable entry and excess length, even routine changes become harder to manage.

Unplanned routing

Mixed cable paths and slack storage complicate access to the optical distribution area.

A defined fiber path

Separate routing ducts, bend-control fixtures and a dedicated drawer give each cable-management task its place.

ENGINEERED CABLE MANAGEMENT

Four features. One organized frame.

Each mechanical element serves a different part of the fiber-routing and maintenance workflow.

Integrated ducts

Right-side vertical holders, rear and side openings, and an upper cable drop support defined cable entry and separation.

Slack bend control

Wide-diameter circular fixtures guide stored fiber along the vertical route rather than leaving excess cable unmanaged.

Movable slack drawer

A 3U pull-out drawer accommodates excess cable length and may be mounted at a selected rack-unit position.

Wall-ready open frame

Built-in wall brackets and the open construction provide a compact alternative to a full-height enclosed cabinet.

FIBER ROUTING CONCEPT

Follow the route from entry to distribution.

This conceptual sequence explains the product’s cable-management functions; actual fiber topology depends on the installed configuration.

01 / ENTRYUpper & side ducts

Bring cables into the frame via designated access points.

→
02 / ROUTINGVertical guides

Manage the cable path around bend-control fixtures.

→
03 / SLACK3U storage drawer

Keep surplus fiber length in a dedicated location.

→
04 / DISTRIBUTIONSC connections

Support the planned splice and distribution arrangement.

SERVICE ACCESS

Make room for the work behind the fiber.

The rack combines vertical and horizontal cable organization so installers can allocate space for entering trunks, stored slack and SC distribution hardware.

WHERE IT FITS

Designed around fiber termination work.

Typical planning scenarios for a wall-mounted fiber distribution frame; suitability depends on site conditions and final configuration.

01 / FIBER DISTRIBUTION

Communications rooms

Organize SC fiber termination and cross-connection areas with integrated cable routing.

02 / SPLICE MANAGEMENT

Fiber splicing projects

Plan dedicated space for trays, patching hardware and serviceable cable runs.

03 / WALL-MOUNTED LAYOUTS

Space-constrained installations

Use an open-frame rack where wall mounting better suits the available room layout.

SPECIFY THE APPLICATION

Tell us how the fiber enters, routes and terminates.

For project matching, share the planned SC distribution, incoming cable directions, wall space and maintenance requirements. Fibernet can review the rack arrangement against the requested installation.
