Customer Premises Angled Fiber Socket

Customer Premises Angled Fiber Socket

45° optical access for Gewiss-compatible FTTH wall outlets.

The installation challenge

The fiber handoff should fit the outlet – not complicate it.

An FTTH termination point needs room for the selected connector and a practical installation method, without turning the wall outlet into a bespoke enclosure.

At the subscriber end

The installer needs to terminate the incoming drop fiber and connect it at the customer premises. Connector selection, shutter arrangement and compatibility with the installed wall format affect how that work is planned.

A wall outlet should be specified alongside the connector and faceplate, rather than selected on appearance alone.

Fibernet approach

One angled format. Configuration around the connection.

The socket places the optical adapter at 45° and supports field-installable connector methods. The selected adapter and shutter can be defined to match the termination plan.

01 / INTERFACE

45° optical orientation

A dedicated angled adapter arrangement within the Gewiss-compatible outlet format.

02 / INSTALLATION

Connector choice at the wall

Supports field-installable fast-connector and fuse-connect approaches as described in the source datasheet.

03 / PROTECTION

Selectable shutters

Options include internal or external shutters, with no-shutter ordering also listed.

Connection architecture

A defined termination point for the FTTH drop.

This is a passive optical connection outlet. The datasheet does not describe active signal conversion or Ethernet switching functions.

What installers need to know

Specify the interface before the final fit-out.

Different optical adapters and shutter styles are listed in the same product family. The selected components should be checked against the planned connection method and Gewiss installation assembly.

Where it fits

Designed for customer-side optical access.

The angled socket is a practical fit when the project calls for a Gewiss-format subscriber fiber termination point and a specified connector arrangement.

FTTH subscriber outlets

Optical drop-cable termination at the customer premises.

Residential fiber installations

Integrating the optical connection within the designated wall fitting.

Connector-specific projects

Providing an outlet chosen around adapter, shutter and polishing requirements.
