STAR400 LC UNIBOOT

A compact duplex LC fiber patch cord that carries two fibers in a single 2 mm cable, reducing front-of-rack cable volume while supporting reversible polarity and tool-free access in densely loaded panels.

Traditional duplex patching can quickly fill horizontal and vertical cable managers as port density increases. The LC Uniboot design carries two fibers in a single 2 mm cable instead of using two separate simplex legs, helping reduce patch-cord bulk while preserving standard LC duplex connectivity.

The supplied Fibernet datasheet states cabling-volume savings of up to 50%, making the product particularly relevant to dense front-of-rack patching where access, identification and cable routing are operational concerns.

Reduce Front-of-Rack Congestion

Two fibers share one 2 mm cable, reducing cable bulk compared with conventional duplex constructions.

Reverse Polarity in the Field

Field-reversible polarity supports faster MAC work without replacing the entire patch cord.

Identify Connections Faster

Custom sleeve labeling and 12 available latch colors help technicians distinguish links in dense panels.

Factory-Test Every Fiber

Insertion loss, return loss and ferrule-geometry testing are specified for every fiber.

The product is designed so polarity can be reversed in the field. This gives technicians more flexibility when correcting or changing duplex channel orientation during moves, adds and changes.

The LC Uniboot Patch Cord includes a latch pull tab that allows the connector to be disengaged from densely loaded panels without special tools. This improves accessibility where finger space around adjacent LC ports is limited.
