A self-contained fiber inspection probe for fast MPO/MTP® and single-fiber connector inspection, with auto-focus, auto-centering, automated pass/fail analysis and untethered touchscreen operation.
High-density fiber links depend on clean, correctly prepared connector end faces. A contaminated MPO/MTP® interface can affect multiple fibers at once, making visual inspection and documented cleanliness verification an important part of installation, turn-up and troubleshooting.
FOCIS Lightning®2 combines image capture, auto-focus, auto-centering and pass/fail analysis in a handheld platform. AFL states that it can capture and display an entire MPO end face in less than two seconds, helping technicians shorten the time between inspection and corrective action.
