Reduce Space at High-Density Connection Points
Use compact MTP® connectivity at the trunk side while presenting the breakout interfaces required by active equipment or patching hardware.
MTP® cabling is designed for dense, multi-fiber connectivity, but equipment-side interfaces may require LC, SC, ST, FC or other connector formats. Fibernet MTP® Bundle & Fanout assemblies provide a factory-terminated transition between the MTP® side and the required fanout connector architecture.
The datasheet states that MTP® connectivity provides more than 12 times the density of standard connectors. Combined with precision molded MT ferrules and metal guide pins, the assembly is designed for compact infrastructure with accurate fiber alignment during mating.
Use compact MTP® connectivity at the trunk side while presenting the breakout interfaces required by active equipment or patching hardware.
Factory-pre-terminated assemblies reduce on-site termination work and simplify deployment.
Select connector formats, fiber counts, fanout lengths, polish types and polarity/loss options through the ordering structure.
Insertion loss, return loss and ferrule geometry testing are documented for every fiber.

The datasheet states that the maximum insertion-loss value above refers to 12-fiber MTP®. For 24- or 48-fiber MTP® configurations, contact Fibernet for the applicable performance specification. Return-loss values printed in the source datasheet require engineering validation before web publication and are therefore not reproduced here.
